KTDFC Online Tenders / Kerala Transport Development Finance Corporation Limited eProcurement




On the Kerala Transport Development Finance Corporation Limited Tenders (KTDFC) e-procurement portal, vendors can view tender-related details such as dates of submission, auction date and venue etc. Users can view and download documents such as Tender Notice, Addendum Notices, Tender Document, if any corrigendum, Drawings, Technical Bid and Price Bid. New users have to register on the KTDFC e-tenders portal. To bid for KTDFC online tenders, vendors have to obtain a user ID and password. Bidders also have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1686. Payment can be made via a demand draft which is favouring KSEDCL and is payable at Bangalore. It has to be submitted along with a requisition letter.

Digital signature certificate (DSC) is mandatory for logging onto the KTDFC e-tenders portal and submission of bids. Vendors can buy sify class 3 digital signature certificates online on the Esign website. A valid sify class 3 DSC, along with an installation kit, will be delivered at the doorstep within 72 hours. Bidders have to authenticate their digital signature certificates on the portal.

To file tenders on the KTDFC e-tenders portal, tenderers need to ensure that their computer systems meet the following requirements:
•    Operating system: Windows XP and above
•    Microsoft Office 2003: MS Word and MS Excel
•    Web browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and 8
•    Internet connection: Broadband connection of minimum 512 Kbps
•    Utilities: Java Version 6 (update 30 and above), Adobe Acrobat Reader, Win Zip, Win Rar, PKI installation driver for digital signature
•    Processor system: Minimum P-IV
•    Hard disk drive: 40 GB or above recommended
•    Random access memory: 512MB and above

While submitting the tender form, fees can be paid via a demand draft (DD) or easy money deposit (EMD). For a DD details such as DD number, date and name of the bank have to be submitted. For entering the EMD details, users can access the ‘Click here to enter EMD Details’ link. The EMD document has to be scanned and uploaded on the KTDFC e-procurement portal. The scanned copy should be JPEG file format. Files in other formats would not be accepted by the system.
